In Spring 2002, Hotel Termes Montbrió opened a new Spa Aquatonic and Leisure Centre pavilion including a 400sq m area of stimulating thermal waters. Using the same thermal springs sourced by the Ancient Romans, the main Spa has a central pool. Heated to either 41°C or 81°C the mineral-rich pools are used in the heated swimming pool that has geysers and bubble beds. The springs are used in the giant Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, saunas and all hydrotherapy treatments. The Spa uses Dead Sea mud and the purest algae from Brittany in their body wraps. The Hand and Foot Shower is a means of generating greater circulation. Ultrasound is used in the electrotherapy treatments to combat cellulite and help to reduce pain associated with arthritis. Cell regeneration, oxygenation, liposuction and botox injections are included in aesthetic treatments. Personalised programmes are available. |
