Apple Watch Pride Edition Bands Launched in India: Price, and Availability

In India, Apple has just launched the Apple Watch Pride Edition bands. In honour of Pride Month (June), Apple launched two new Pride Edition bands for the Apple Watch, as well as dynamic Pride watch faces, in support of the global LGBTQ+ community and equality movement.
This year's Pride Edition Sport Loop, according to Apple, features a colour gradient with the word "pride" sewn directly into the band. Apple has been a significant sponsor of LGBTQ+ advocacy organisations in recent years, and this year, Apple will also launch a new Shot on iPhone pride campaign on Instagram in June, capturing the essence of artists and personalities in the global LGBTQ+ community.

Pride Edition Sport Loop and Nike Sport Loop: Price and Availability
Both Prime Edition bands are Rs 3,900 and are now available on Apple.com and the Apple Store app. The bands will be available in the Apple Store beginning May 26, and the Nike Sport Loop will be available soon on nike.com. The Pride Edition bands are both Apple Watch compatible.
Pride Edition Sport Loop
This band features a one-of-a-kind design inspired by members and allies of Apple's LGBTQ+ creative community in order to give a new display of pride. This band features the Sport Loop design, which is comfortable, sturdy, and adaptable. Furthermore, Apple has employed a unique process to remove some of the double-layer nylon-woven textile loops on the band, revealing the word "pride" in a cursive manner inspired by the initial "hello" greeting, which was displayed on the first Macintosh in 1984.
The colour gradient combines the original rainbow colours with those from diverse pride flags, such as light blue, pink, and white, which symbolise transgender and gender-nonconforming people, and black and brown, which represent Black and Latinx groups. The colours also reflect those living with or who have died from HIV/AIDS..

Pride Edition Nike Sport Loop
There is, as usual, a Nike edition of the Sport Loop. The new Pride Edition Nike Sport Loop is designed to celebrate the entire rainbow and has a rainbow-coloured Nike Bounce face.

The updated Pride watch face is now available for Apple Watch Series 4 and later running watchOS 8.6, as well as iPhone 6s and later running iOS 15.5. This watch face was inspired by several pride flags and blends colours to signify the LGBTQ+ movement's power and mutual support.
