iQOO Neo 7 5G Could Be the First Smartphone to Support 120W Fast Charging.

In India, iQOO released the Neo 6 5G as its first Neo-series smartphone. At launch, the new 5G smartphone was a performance-focused all-rounder priced under Rs 30,000. The device is currently available on Amazon for around Rs 26,000. It's been a few months since the launch, and iQOO may be releasing a new Neo series smartphone soon. According to rumours, the upcoming iQOO smartphone will be the Neo 7 5G.

The Neo 7 5G is said to have some improvements over the previous model. Fast charging will be one such area. A new leak has revealed some information about the charging capabilities of the Neo 7. Let's take a look at the iQOO Neo 7 specifications, features, and other information that is currently available.

iQOO Neo 7 Specifications

iQOO may launch the Neo 7 series in China later this year. The new premium smartphone could be released in India soon after it is released in China. While we wait for official confirmation, a new leak from tipster Digital Chat Station (Source) revealed that the Neo 7 5G will ship with support for 120W fast charging.

The Neo 6 came with support for 80W fast charging out of the box. The phone also has a 4700 mAh battery that charges in about 40-45 minutes. The charging time could be reduced to around 20 minutes with 120W fast charging. In the iQOO 9 series, iQOO debuted its 120W fast charging technology.

The iQOO 9 Pro, which had the same battery capacity and 120W fast charging support when it was released, was said to charge completely in about 20 minutes. With 120W charging becoming a new standard in the upper mid-range smartphone category, it is not surprising that the Neo 7 will be equipped with the technology.

Other information about the phone has previously leaked. The Neo 7 could be equipped with MediaTek's Dimensity 9000+ SoC. This could also imply that the phone's price will rise as a result of the inclusion of the flagship SoC. In comparison, the Neo 6 was equipped with a slightly older but still powerful Snapdragon 870 SoC.

The Neo 7 is also said to have a 6.78-inch E5 AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. On the back, it is expected to have a 50MP triple-camera setup with a 13MP ultrawide camera and a 12MP portrait-telephoto camera. If the leaked specifications are correct, the upcoming Neo series may provide a more flagship-grade experience than its predecessors.
