OPPO will hold an event in India next week to unveil the Reno 8 series smartphones. The OPPO Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro devices will be available in India on July 18th. Along with the smartphone duo, the company will launch new true wireless earbuds called the OPPO Enco X2 in India on the same stage.
The OPPO Enco X2 is the 2021 successor to the OPPO Enco X. Last year, the Enco X was one of the best premium TWS. The Enco X2 was unveiled in China in February, alongside OPPO's first tablet, the Oppo Pad. In India, the Enco X2 will be available on Flipkart. Let's take a closer look at the OPPO Enco X2.

OPPO Enco X2: Features and Specifications
The Oppo Enco X2 are Bluetooth 5.2 in-ear style earbuds. These buds also have Bluetooth low latency (94ms) dual transmission support and a wireless range of 10 meters. In terms of design, each bud weighs 4.7 grams, and the Enco X2 as a whole weighs 56.5 grams. The IP54 dust and water resistance rating protects the buds from sweat, rain, and dust.
There is an 11mm moving coil driver unit and a secondary 6mm flat diaphragm unit in the audio department. These buds have a sensitivity of 118dB@1kHz and support LHDC, SBC, and AAC codecs. There's also Oppo's proprietary Super DBEE 3.0, which improves sound quality, low-frequency audio, and other features. They also support wireless Hi-Res audio. Dynaudio also collaborated on the previous generation.

Active noise cancellation is also available on the Enco X2, with smart dynamic noise reduction, deep noise reduction, moderate noise reduction, mild noise reduction, transparency mode, enhanced vocals, and noise reduction off modes. These have three microphones for noise cancellation as well as bone conduction AI call noise reduction. These earbuds can cancel out up to 45 decibels of noise.
The Enco X2's battery life is rated to last up to 5 hours with ANC turned on and up to 6.5 hours with ANC turned off. The battery life is increased to 20 hours and 27 hours with the included charging case. The TWS supports both Type-C and Qi wireless charging.
The Oppo Enco X2 is priced at CNY 999 in China (around Rs 11,900). The TWS is available in Mirror Night Black and Frost White.
