Motorola is developing a new foldable smartphone. In the Moto Razr series, the company has already released two versions of its clamshell foldable. According to a new leak, Motorola's next Motorola Razr 3 foldable smartphone will be released soon. The company has not released any information about the launch of its new foldable phone. However, tipster Evan Blass and 91Mobiles have leaked the new foldable smartphone's launch date.

Motorola Moto Razr 3 Design and Specifications 

Motorola will soon launch a new Moto Razr 3 foldable. The foldable smartphone will be available in China in late July or early August, according to Blass. The device will later be released in global markets. According to Blass, the phone will be available in two colours: Quartz Black and Tranquil Blue.

The company is expected to make several design changes, making the phone resemble the Galaxy Z Flip series. The leaked image of the Razr 3 shows that it is slightly boxier and more squared-off than the previous models. The chin has also been removed to allow for more screen real estate. Instead, Motorola will place the fingerprint scanner on the power button.

Motorola's foldable phone will have a dual-camera setup on the back. The two-camera sensors are placed next to each other. As expected, an LED flash module is located next to the camera sensors. According to Blass, the foldable Razr has a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture. A 13MP secondary sensor will also be included. The foldable screen will have a 32MP front camera sensor for selfies. If you're wondering, the foldable phone will not have an under-screen camera module. The front camera will be housed in a hole-punch cutout in the top centre of the Razr.

While the screen size is unknown, the phone will have a Full HD+ display, according to the report. Motorola was said to be working on two different versions of the phone in terms of the processor. One of the two models used the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, while the other used the Gen 1+ SoC, which has yet to be released. Motorola will release the phone with a variety of RAM and storage configurations. The base model will come with 8GB of RAM, while the top model will come with 12GB of RAM.
