OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite Specification Tipped to Include a 90Hz Display and a Snapdragon 695 SoC

OnePlus is preparing to release the OnePlus Nord CE 2, a new mid-range handset. The Nord CE 2 will make its debut in the Indian market on February 17th. However, one more handset from the Nord series has been making headlines in recent weeks. The upcoming Nord CE 2 Lite was recently leaked on the internet. Now, according to a new leak from tipster Yogesh Brar, the Nord CE 2 Lite will include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Optical in-display fingerprint scanners have been available on all Nord series handsets in the country so far. However, other Nord smartphones, such as the N200, N100, and N10 5G, have a fingerprint scanner on the side.

The Nord CE 2 Lite will also have a 3.5mm audio jack, but it will not be OnePlus' distinctive alert slider, according to Yogesh. This should come as no surprise, given that the OnePlus Nord CE lacks an alert slider as well.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite Specifications and Features
OnLeaks leaked the Nord CE 2 Lite earlier this month. According to him, the phone will have a 6.59-inch Full HD+ display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. It's unclear whether the smartphone will have an AMOLED or LCD display at this time. However, given the brand's preference for a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, there's a fair likelihood that the Nord CE 2 Lite will include an LED display.

An octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor and an Adreno 619 GPU will power the upcoming Nord CE 2 Lite. A triple-rear camera array, featuring a 64MP OmniVision main sensor, is claimed to be included in the handset. It might be accompanied by a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The handset may include a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor for selfies and video calls.

The Nord CE 2 Lite will include a 5000 mAh battery and support for 33W fast charging. A Type-C charging connector and a 3.5mm audio jack will be included. The handset will not have an alert slider, as previously announced. It's claimed to run OxygenOS 11, which is based on Android 11.
