OnePlus is preparing to launch a new smart TV in India. With the introduction of a larger screen option, the company is likely to expand its Y1S Pro series smart TV lineup in India. The OnePlus TV Y1S Pro 55-inch model is expected to be released in India soon. It will be placed above the other two models, both of which were released earlier this year.
There is currently no word on the official launch date of OnePlus's upcoming smart TV in India. Meanwhile, the design render of the upcoming 55-inch smart TV has been revealed by a new leak. OnePlus TV Y1S Pro 55-inch: What We Know So Far
The OnePlus TV Y1S Pro 55-inch India launch is expected in the coming days. The company is expected to confirm the launch details soon. Meanwhile, a 91Mobiles report citing tipster Ishan Agarwal revealed the design render of the upcoming Y1S Pro 55-inch TV.
According to the design renders, the 55-inch Y1S Pro will look exactly like the 43-inch and 50-inch smart TV models available in India. Below the screen, there is a substantial chin with the OnePlus logo. The sides and top have fairly narrow bezels around the display for a more bezel-less look.
The renders also show the remote's design, which will include dedicated hotkeys for Disney+ Hotstar, Prime Video, Netflix, and Google Assistant. Other buttons allow you to adjust the volume, navigate to the home menu, and return. There is also a circular ring for navigating the user interface.
The specifications and features of the upcoming OnePlus smart TV have been exclusively revealed by us. The 55-inch display will support resolutions up to 4K Ultra HD. For a better audio experience, there will be 24W speakers. OnePlus will also release a TV with HDR10+ support and Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation (MEMC), which inserts extra frames between two frames to make the footage feel smoother.
There will also be support for OnePlus Connect. Users can control the TV using their OnePlus phone or a watch. The TV will come pre-installed with the Android TV-based Oxygen OS 2.0. It will also have multiple ports, including two USB 2.0, three HDMI 2.1 (one with eARC), one RJ45, and an RF input port. The 55-inch model is expected to cost around Rs 40,000. In comparison, the 50-inch model costs Rs 32,999, while the 43-inch model costs Rs 29,999.
