Xiaomi recently launched the Xiaomi 12S series in its domestic market, but it appears that the Xiaomi 12 series for global markets is still in the works. After releasing the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12X, and Xiaomi 12 Pro in March, the company is now getting ready to launch the Xiaomi 12 Lite in global markets. Xiaomi Global used social media to make a formal announcement about the same.
Xiaomi did not reveal a launch date for the Xiaomi 12 Lite, but we can expect it to arrive this month. The company's launch teaser depicts green and pink colours. Last week, renders of the upcoming Xiaomi 12 Lite surfaced on the internet, showing the device in Pink, Green, and Black colour options.

Xiaomi 12 Lite: Specifications and expected price
Roland Quandt discovered the Xiaomi 12 Lite on Orange's Spain website ahead of its official launch. According to the e-commerce listing, the upcoming Xiaomi 12 Lite will have a 6.55-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 24001080, a pixel density of 402ppi, and a refresh rate of 120Hz. According to the listing, the display panel has HDR10+ and Dolby Vision certification.
The Xiaomi 12 Lite will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor with an Adreno 642L GPU integrated. The device will run Android 12 out of the box, but as is customary, it will be topped with the MIUI 13 skin.
According to the listing, the Xiaomi 12 Lite will have a triple-rear camera setup, including a 108MP primary shooter. The high-resolution sensor will be accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro sensor on the upcoming Xiaomi 12 series device. For selfies and video calls, the Xiaomi 12 Lite will have a 32MP front-facing camera.

The upcoming Xiaomi 12 series device will have a 4300mAh battery and support 67W fast charging. It will also include a stereo speaker configuration with Dolby Atmos audio. It will weigh 173grams and measure 159.30 x 73.70 x 7.29mm as per the listing.
In the European market, the Xiaomi 12 Lite will cost €506 (approx Rs 41,000) for the 8GB + 128GB variant.
