Today, Xiaomi launched the Mi Band 7 and Mi Band 7 NFC fitness trackers in China. The popular fitness tracker from the firm has been updated with a new design, a larger display, and a few new capabilities.
Aside from the inclusion of NFC, which is useful for payments and tickets, the Band 7 and Band 7 NFC share the same specifications. The Mi Band 7 has a 1.62-inch AMOLED display, different fitness and sports modes, a longer battery life, and support for multiple band faces. While the Mi Band 7 was said to have built-in GPS, it does not.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 7 costs CNY 239 (Rs 2,800), while the Mi Band 7 NFC costs CNY 279 (Rs 3,200). The fitness tracker will be available in China beginning May 31.

The first significant addition is in the form of display. The Mi Band 7 has a larger 1.62-inch AMOLED display than the Band 6, which was 1.56-inch. The 25% increase in screen size will allow users to extract more information from the screen. The band also has Always-on-Display support, which has been one of the most requested features. The Mi Band 7 also has a revised user interface with new icons, animations, and aesthetics.

The Mi Band 7 has a heart rate monitor and a SpO2 monitor to measure blood oxygen levels. Aside from that, sleep tracking is available, with a full breakdown of deep and light sleep. The band supports 120 sports modes, including walking, running, cycling, and others. In terms of battery life, the Band 7 has a 180mAh battery unit that can last up to 15 days. A 5ATM water resistance rating, smart notification, and several colour options are also included.
