GTA 6 Trailer

Rockstar Games has officially released the first GTA 6 trailer, making Christmas come early for gaming aficionados. The long-awaited trailer was supposed to be released later today, but owing to an early leak, the team was obliged to release it considerably ahead of schedule. It provides us with a solid idea of what to expect from the next-generation installment in the classic open-world crime franchise Grand Theft Auto, nicknamed GTA. GTA 5, the current-gen title, was released in 2013, making it more than a decade old.

GTA 6 Coming to PlayStation and Xbox in 2025+

The debut of Lucia, the series' first female protagonist, is the trailer's main feature. Rockstar Games has previously only employed male protagonists in GTA games, but this will change with the forthcoming release. At the start of the trailer, she is seen as a prison inmate.

The trailer then shows the lively Vice City, a fictitious city modeled after Miami, Florida. This is a city that GTA fans are familiar with, courtesy to the 2002 release of GTA Vice City. While the previous game depicted an 80s crime world and the atmosphere of the city, GTA 6 will depict the city in a more current light.

It is the reason why GTA fans who have played Vice City would notice a significant difference between the two eras despite experiencing a sense of familiarity. Because social media is so popular in our everyday lives, Rockstar has included it in GTA 6. People are producing TikToks/Reels, shooting videos, and posting from official yet fictitious government accounts.

After depicting Vice City's entire modern American hedonistic ambiance, including animals and a slew of NPCs, the teaser moves on to the second protagonist, Jason. It demonstrates how well Jason and Lucia know each other and work together to commit crimes in the Bonnie and Clyde style. The trailer concludes by disclosing the GTA 6 release date, which is set for 2025.

The business released a brief synopsis of the game in a press release, "Grand Theft Auto VI heads to the state of Leonida, home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet."
