The Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro have a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The main distinction between the two phones' displays is that the Pro model has a QHD+ screen resolution while the vanilla model only has a Full HD+ screen. The X80 Pro display can support up to 1500 nits of brightness, 10-bit colours, and HDR10+ content, whereas the standard X80 can only support up to 1000 nits of brightness.

Customised V1+ Chip

The Vivo X80 series phones are powered by a customised Vivo V1+ chip. It is a Vivo-developed chip that aids in photography, videography, and power efficiency. It is the successor to the Vivo V1 chip found in the X70 series. According to the company, the chip will help improve the devices' photography and videography abilities, maintain gaming performance, and consume less power. 50MP Rear Camera Setup Powered by ZEISS Technology

The Vivo X80 and X80 Pro have a 50MP camera setup on the back, which is designed by ZEISS optics. The Vivo X80 Pro has quad rear cameras, whereas the vanilla variant has triple rear cameras. A reflective rectangular camera module houses all of the cameras. Both devices have a 32MP selfie camera in the centre punch hole on the front.

The Vivo X80 Pro has a quad rear camera system that includes a 50MP (f/1.57, OIS) GNV main camera, a 48MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens, a 12MP (f/1.85) portrait camera, and an 8MP (f/3.4, OIS) telephoto lens.

The Vivo X80 has a main camera with 50MP (f/1.75, OIS), an ultra-wide-angle lens with 12MP (f/2.0), and a telephoto lens with 12MP (f/1.98). The phone has a digital zoom capability of up to 20x.

The Vivo X80 is the first device in India to be equipped with the Mediatek Dimensity 9000 SoC. Vivo, on the other hand, is releasing a Pro version of the phone with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Both phones will have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal UFS 3.1 storage. Both devices will ship with the FunTouch OS 12 skin based on Android 12.
