Vivo is preparing to launch two new devices in India in its popular flagship X series. The Vivo X80 series, which includes the Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro, will be released in India. The phones went on sale in China earlier this month. The X series has always been notable for Vivo because it includes the most recent processors, new camera technologies, a new design, unique camera layouts, fast charging, and much more. Vivo has introduced the Vivo V1+ chip, a custom imaging processor from the company, for the Vivo X80 series. The Vivo X80 series will include two phones: the Vivo X80 and the Vivo X80 Pro. The Vivo X80 Pro starts at CNY 5499 (approximately Rs 64,350) in China, while the Vivo X80 starts at CNY 3699 (approximately Rs 43,300). So, we can expect the vanilla variant to be priced between Rs 50k and Rs 55k in India, and the Vivo X80 Pro to be priced between Rs 70k and Rs 75k. Having said that, Vivo will announce the Indian price of the Vivo X80 series on May 18.

120Hz AMOLED Display
The Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro have a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The main distinction between the two phones' displays is that the Pro model has a QHD+ screen resolution while the vanilla model only has a Full HD+ screen. The X80 Pro display can support up to 1500 nits of brightness, 10-bit colours, and HDR10+ content, whereas the standard X80 can only support up to 1000 nits of brightness.
Customised V1+ Chip
The Vivo X80 series phones are powered by a customised Vivo V1+ chip. It is a Vivo-developed chip that aids in photography, videography, and power efficiency. It is the successor to the Vivo V1 chip found in the X70 series. According to the company, the chip will help improve the devices' photography and videography abilities, maintain gaming performance, and consume less power. 50MP Rear Camera Setup Powered by ZEISS Technology
The Vivo X80 and X80 Pro have a 50MP camera setup on the back, which is designed by ZEISS optics. The Vivo X80 Pro has quad rear cameras, whereas the vanilla variant has triple rear cameras. A reflective rectangular camera module houses all of the cameras. Both devices have a 32MP selfie camera in the centre punch hole on the front.

The Vivo X80 Pro has a quad rear camera system that includes a 50MP (f/1.57, OIS) GNV main camera, a 48MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens, a 12MP (f/1.85) portrait camera, and an 8MP (f/3.4, OIS) telephoto lens.
The Vivo X80 has a main camera with 50MP (f/1.75, OIS), an ultra-wide-angle lens with 12MP (f/2.0), and a telephoto lens with 12MP (f/1.98). The phone has a digital zoom capability of up to 20x.

The Vivo X80 series handsets are loaded with features, including a 4,700mAh battery unit with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging support. The vanilla X80, on the other hand, has a 4,500mAh battery with only 80W wired charging. Wireless charging is not supported in the vanilla variant. The Vivo X80 is the first device in India to be equipped with the Mediatek Dimensity 9000 SoC. Vivo, on the other hand, is releasing a Pro version of the phone with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Both phones will have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal UFS 3.1 storage. Both devices will ship with the FunTouch OS 12 skin based on Android 12.
