Android 13 is just around the corner for Pixel phones, and OnePlus, OPPO's sibling company, has released OxygenOS 13. OPPO has been testing the beta version of the new ColorOS 13 internally, with only a few fans allowed to participate.

While the company has yet to announce an official release date for its Android 13-based custom skin, according to a new report, ColorOS 13 will be available globally in August 2022. Android 13 Is Coming Soon to Your OPPO Devices

According to 91Mobiles, ColorOS 13 will be released globally in August; this should come as no surprise given that OnePlus just unveiled the OxygenOS 13 at an event alongside the OnePlus 10T. For those who are unaware, OnePlus' OxygenOS and OPPO's ColorOS are said to use the same unified operating system. The Reno8 series, which includes the Reno8 and Reno8 Pro, will be among the first smartphones to receive the Android 13-based ColorOS update in September, according to the report.

OPPO has also begun actively recruiting for the OPPO Find X5, Find X5 Pro, and Find N ColorOS 13 public beta program. Participants in the program will be able to test ColorOS 13 on the aforementioned devices before the upgrade is released to the stable channel later this year.

To begin, make a backup of your data and update your OPPO Find N to A.20/A.22, your OPPO X5, and your OPPO X5 Pro to A.20/A.21.
