The graphic depicts panels for all four rumoured iPhones, including the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
As the release date of the rumoured iPhone 14 series approaches, we are seeing more leaks for smartphones than ever before. One of the most anticipated improvements this year is the debut of a new pill-shaped cutout with a hole instead of the notch that Apple has used since the iPhone X. Several renders of the new pill-and-hole design have previously shown on the screen. This time, though, actual, real-life photographs of the glass panel have surfaced on the internet. The image displays the panels for all four rumoured iPhones in the lineup — the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Bezels on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max may become thinner as well.
While the panels of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max are the same as the current models with a similar notch, the panels of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max feature the pill-and-shape design. The image, which was obtained on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo (via Twitter), also shows the bezels on the other three sides. The bezels on the iPhone 14 Pro versions appear to be a trifle slimmer than those on the 'non-Pro' devices.
iPhone 14 front panels have leaked on Weibo - here are the changes to note:— Saran (@SaranByte) April 28, 2022
1) thinner bezels on the Pro models, as reported by other sources
2) aspect ratio is also slightly different on the Pros (19.5:9 to 20:9); this corroborates with 9to5Mac’s report regarding taller displays pic.twitter.com/UtqNcBB9aP
iPhone 14 Rumors: Selfie Camera, Satellite Connectivity, and More
While the authenticity of the leaked image has yet to be established, the glass panels appear to be consistent with the rumours that have circulated on the Internet. Other rumours that have recently piqued the interest of Apple fans include the debut of USB 3.0 capability for the iPhone 14 Pro versions. Despite shifting to a USB-C port on iPhones and MacBooks and being under constant criticism from the EU Commission, Apple appears to be sticking with the Lightning Port for all iPhones. This year's iPhone 14 models may also get an enhanced selfie camera, according to rumours. This time, the camera will include focusing, which should be useful when capturing selfies or making FaceTime chats.
According to certain reports, the iPhone 14 will include satellite connectivity. Users will be able to send text messages or SOS answers over satellite networks, as well as report occurrences. This will come in handy when there is no network.
